Hand Saw Cutting is very versatile and can be used in almost any situation where cuts are required. Petrol and hydraulic powered hand saws have a maximum cutting depth of 150mm while electrically powered hand saws have a maximum cutting depth of 130mm.

Ring sawing is a hand held method of saw cutting, used to form cuts up to 265mm deep in all building materials, using a diamond tipped offset cutting wheel, either hydraulically or electrically driven Ring Saws are commonly used where wall saws are not effective.

The corners of an opening after wall sawing are not cut through unless the opening is cut past the connecting cut line. This is due of the use of round diamond blades. Where over cutting needs to be prevented, or represents a structural issue, a core drill is used to complete the corners.

Wire sawing is a technique using diamond impregnated wire, running through a series of drive and guide pulleys to form cuts where other methods of drilling or sawing aren't feasible due to the shape or size of the material to be cut.

Threaded on a flywheel hydraulically driven by an electric motor diamond wire is used primarily for cutting heavily reinforced concrete where space is limited and time is critical. The use of diamond wire allows for cutting structures unlimited in size with virtually no vibration or dust.
